The Children of Damascus

The Children of Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....

Innocence is lost

in a World corrupted

By those with more

than.....

Just hidden agendas

The Children of Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....

'Keep them in your thoughts!'

urges a friend from afar

a million now displaced refugees....

'A generation of innocents'

innocent no longer!

The Children of Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....

The man behind the mask

Guy Fawkes Anon

speaks of Whistleblower

'Stateside

And Pentagon intrigues....

Whilst Children in Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....

"There are no kids left in Ghouta"

says Omar Jaabari

in a hundred retweeted messages

and more

from the dropzone.....

The Children of Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....

The small persons who are left

Are children

no longer......

Bereft of innocence

They are strangers in their own empty streets.....

The Children of Damascus

Sleep

Their chemical dreams.....
